Bob Spour Muay Thai Seminar - October 2008

On Sunday 12th October Bob Spour visited the K1-Kickboxing camp to teach students from the Swindon Martial Arts Alliance skills and techniques of Muay Thai. Bob explained the importance of a good guard and Muay Thai stance and covered drills involving punching, chopping elbow, shin kick, long knee and clinch work. The two hour seminar flew by with everyone appreciating Bob's skill, knowledge and sense of humour. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Bob for a great seminar.

Muay Thai and Kickboxing Seminar - October 2008

On Sunday 5th October Kru Neville Grant from GL1 Muay Thai camp and I held a seminar at the Liden Centre in Swindon teaching students from both the GL1 Muay Thai and K1-Kickboxing camps various skills and techniques both in Thai Boxing and Kickboxing. Everyone worked hard and finished off with sparring. I would like to thank my good friend Neville and his students for visiting Swindon and to Neville for sharing his in-depth knowledge of Thai boxing with us.

100 Fight and Beyond - April 2008

Organised by the SMAA to raise funds for Prospect Hospice, Wroughton and Liden Pre-School. Around 30 members of kickboxing and tae kwon-do clubs from the SMAA sparred against each other for 100 x 30 second rounds. Everyone had a great time and £2291 was raised.
